Bead Fest Goodies

You didn't think I went to Bead Fest and didn't BUY or TRADE anything? HA! As if...Although I admit I might have done more if my husband hadn't been there with me to hold me back some. I did  most of my shopping/trading on Sunday. However, I was not waiting that long to snag me a Staci Louise Original. I've been drooling over the work she's been showing in the lead up to Bead Fest. I selected this amazing heart. I will be making something for myself with it.

On Saturday was the big bead swap. My partner was Tracy Bell (Copper, Glass and Recycled Trash). She gave me these darling beads by Diane Hawkey. I LOVE them!

Diana P, the organizer of Saturday's swap, also recruited some sponsors to donate door prizes (including me).

After she drew my name as the winner of something I donated (and threw it back in), I won these copper and brass blanks donated by Heather Marston.

Diana P stopped by my booth sometime Saturday and gave me this guy. You can't help but smile when you look at him.

I got these lampworking tools from Karen Leonardo, who was across the aisle from me. An oak lead will be coming later. I can hardly wait!

I traded with Jenny Davies-Reazor for these bunny and acorn oak leaf pendants. The rabbit is for my daughter (she loves it!) and the acorn oak leaf will be included in a piece I make as a silent auction donation for my daughter's school. The acorn and oak tree figure prominently in their school theme and the school even includes the word oak.

Then I traded with Karen Totten for the following lovelies.

Woo-Hoo, you got some awesome items in your swaps. Love looking at everyones loot!

You may have restrained yourself, but you still brought home some real winners. What fun you must have had and are going to have with these goodies.
