AM uap/ AM used auto parts Was AIM auto parts Rip offs con men and fraudsters scam artists! Tampa Florida Nationwide!!. I’m a single mom with a very small income. I needed a transmission for my Ford Explorer a2004. I contacted AM used auto parts. They said they have a 2005 transmission with a torque converter with only 57,000 miles for $1095.00 dollars with a one year warranty and shipping was included. From day one they took payment and never sent me any information on when it would be delivered. I had to keep calling and finally they sent me an email to locate where my transmission was being shipped from . I had to call the shipping company to get the date for delivery. When the time came to put the transmission and torque converter in my explorer the toque converter would not go in the transmission all the way on the shaft and splines. I had my mechanic friends all try and get it in place on the transmission with no luck I was told the transmission is not going to work !!!! We all tried to get it to work !!! It was clear that they sent me a bad setup and they where going to rip me off and lie that they sent a working transmission and torque converter. I called and called and was blow off for days… They even had one of their tracks try to convince me I was nuts and I did something wrong to the transmission.. I told them why would I lie I want my car to run more than anything. The tech said he would have the booss call me the next day and never did. When I call them back they tried to get me to send the transmission back and pay for it he shipping and they would get some one to enspect the transmission and torque converter to make sure it’s good and didn’t do something to it then refund my money. They will send you junk that won’t run lie about mileage and then rip you off of the evidence that they sent to you blame you for the damaged parts to void the warranty they give you.. They are scam artists Florida needs to put them in prison once and for all so many bad reviews. But I will keep at it and next will be the attorney generals office and the BBB . Do not deal with them…bad news.
