Complaint: On September 24, 2014, 9:30am, I paid a visit to your store and spoke with Apple Employee Worker AMANDA who completed a workup diagnostic estimate sheet for repair of my Mac Book Pro. Upon completion, Amanda stated she was going to send the estimated repair info of $1200.40 via my email. However, having awaited 5 days and still no email receipt and without any courtesy response whatsoever from Genius Worker AMANDA,I decided to call again, on September 29, 2014, at 9:53am, to discuss with AMANDA why she had not sent the estimated cost of repair of my Mac Book Pro. With a half-apology, AMANDA said that she had not sent the info due to some technical error. Based on the aforementioned, I trusted AMANDA and believed the reason she had not sent the info was based on a technicality. AMANDA said she would redo the workup sheet and send me the info after having requested the serial number of my Mac Book Pro. Now some 12 hours later, I realized that something is awry and AMANDA lied about redoing the workup sheet. I am TOTALLY disappointed and have no choice but to complain to the Better Business Bureau and the California Attorney General about the practices of Apple Store employees located at El Paseo. I paid over $3,000 dollars for my Mac Book Pro with insurance and should not be lied to by some disgruntled Apple Store employee who may dislike African-Americans by not treating them like other Apple customers.
