I am writing on behalf of my father. He and his girlfriend(now fiancee’, which was supposed to happen on the ship but didn’t) booked their cruise last fall. They were part of a large group that was to fly from Columbus, OH to Miami, FL. They were contacted and told they would not be flying with the rest of the group unless they paid another $320. They would be put on a different flight. nThe day arrives they were to fly out. They were to leave at 9:45AM. Due to the plane being frozen, they didn’t leave until 2:30PM (by which time, the ship had set sail). They arrived in Atlanta. They spent 4 hours on the phone trying to figure out what they could do. The airline put them up overnight, then flew them to Grand Cayman to meet the ship (they had already lost day 1 and 2). He was going to propse on the ship the 1st night…nSuprisingly, the rest of the trip went OK. nHe contacted them in March to see what they might do since he missed 40% of his time on the ship. He received a letter from Marina Rodriguez stating that they were going to do nothing. nI contacted them on 16 JUL 09 on his behalf. I was told they would do nothing. Upon asking for a supervisor, Adam Ramirez proceeded to tell me they would do nothing. The jerk actually started to argue with me. nI am thinking of a website… DONTCRUISECARNIVAL.com.
