Signed up as a Choice Privileges Rewards Member on 6/5/2017 to make an online reservation to stay at this hotel location on 6/17/2017, on 6/10 I found out that I cannot attend the event due to a work schedule conflict, on 6/11 I attempted to cancel the reservation thru the customer service group of choice privileges but I was told it was a prepaid online reservation and they could not cancel the reservation, and for me to contact the actual location. I called the hotel in 6/11 at 9:30 am and spoke with Tom and he informed me that there was nothing he could do and that he was going to speak to someone name Lisa who has been there for a long time and she may be able to help me. He then told me that they inform their customers not to make reservations online because this happens all of the time and they lose money for this reason; he recently had a customer lose $700 because he made his reservation through Choice Previleges Hotels and there was nothing they could do for him. He gave me the GM’s name, ( Allison Aluberrela) , but he said she would most likely not help me as well.
