Complaint: I purchased a Ford 5.4 engine from Got Engines on 7-25-17, it arrived on 8-10-17, ( far greater than the 3-5 business days promised when they took my payment. When the engine arrived, The Mechanic began to get it ready for installation and noticed metal shaving all through the engine, timing chain area and in the cylinders there was a material that appeared to be sand or grit. we took photo’s emailed as requested to GOT Engines. The warranty department said they were sending a new engine within 3-5 days I was told it would leave there warehouse on 8-16-17 when I had no trackin g info sent I called they told me it would be leaving either 8/18/17 or 8/21/17 when again no shipping traching info was received I called again, this time I was told it was leaving on thursday 8/24/17 and transferred to the shipping department for confirmation, I had to leave a message on the answering machine, no return call, I called again on 8-24-17, had to leavve a message again, again no return call, have been on hold for warranty department today 34.19 minutes to get updated info. Contacting the Office of U.S. Attorney General. This company has stolen $2,845.00 from me.
