Complaint: On 6/27/07 my husband ordered some exhaust parts for his truck. My credit card was charged the same day on 6/27/07. The web site advertised shipping in 7 to 10 days with most orders going out in 2 to 3 days. Two weeks later we’re still waiting. I called the customer service desk & talked to someone who told me that the part was backordered (even though the website promised parts were in stock). I had never been notified of this. I guess if I hadn’t called to check on the order, I would have never known. I asked how long this would be on backorder & was told that he didn’n know & was referred to another phone # at the help desk. This phone was always busy. I sat for an hour hitting redial & my call never went through. So then I logged onto the online chat. Someone immediately answered my prompt, but when I again asked how long this would be backordered, I was told the office manager had that information & he was out of the office until the next week. Then I asked “how to cancel the order because I needed the parts now””. The online chat representative just sat there & would not answer at all so then I logged off & logged back on. I got an instant response saying that the chat service was now closed even though it was 30 minutes before the advertised time for the chat to close down. I logged in the next day & no one would answer my prompt at all. I tried calling again in the next few days but could never get through. The phone was always busy. So then I tried emailing them. I have several emails that I’ve sent to them & saved always stating the same thing – my order #

Phone: asking them to please cancel my order & to respond to let me know that the order was cancelled. I’ve never gotten a response to any of them. I’ve now started a dispute investigation through my credit card so hopefully RPM will respond to them since they wouldn’t give their customer the time of day. I buy a lot of things online & have NEVER dealt with a company that I feel is as dishonest as this one. I would tell everyone to steer clear of this company. Angela Canton
